There are several ways to search about divorce in Texas. Texas Divorce Records has all the information to retrieve your data needed. You may also apply it online or offline. The office records have enough data ever since the year of 1968. These files are the decrees of divorce which are delivered to them. For only $20, you will be able to verify it and same charges also apply if you visit the office. Such charge however, is not refundable and not transferable even if files cannot be found anymore.

Just prepare your identification card, and acceptable are the following: government ids such as driver's license, military id, student or prison card. If you do not have a valid id, you may have to bring any utility bill which has your name and simply sign on it. Social security id is also acceptable.

When you check via Public Divorce Records, you also have the option to search for the files however, it may take time. Processing time would depend upon the availability of your records. You also have an option to search it offline however of course you need to go Texas Vital Statistics in Austin.
